Former R-MC Quarterback Finalist in NFL Contest

ASHLAND, Va. – Former Randolph-Macon quarterback Lee Krost is a finalist in the Together We Make Football contest, sponsored by the NFL.

According to their website, the NFL received thousands of stories about why fans love football in a contest to win a trip to the Super Bowl. Krost’s story was one of 10 finalists. Fans are asked to vote for their favorite story to choose the winner.

Krost played for the Yellow Jackets from 1959 through 1962. At the age of 74, he still plays quarterback on a flag football team.
