This is the 122nd meeting and 124th anniversary of The Game. R-MC is 50-60-11 all-time against H-SC in a series that dates back to 1893. The Yellow Jackets have won three straight and five of the past six contests and have averaged 33.5 points in those six games. R-MC has held H-SC to an average of 14.0 points in the past three meetings. In last year's edition, the Yellow Jackets outscored the Tigers 24-0 in the second half to post a 48-23 win at H-SC to capture the ODAC title. In the last meeting in Ashland, the R-MC defense stopped multiple scoring chances to hang on for a 14-9 victory two seasons ago. The Yellow Jackets are 22-18-1 in ODAC contests with the Tigers going back to 1976. R-MC won the first encounter with H-SC, 12-6 in 1893.

GAME DAY TRAFFIC: Starting at 10:00 am, several streets surrounding the Randolph-Macon campus will be closed to accommodate game day traffic. Beginning at 10:00 am. No East bound traffic will be permitted on West Patrick street and Smith Street will be closed. Therefore, tailgate patrons should enter from Center Street. This will help facilitate an orderly flow of traffic northbound to the Smith Alumni Tailgate Area and the West Patrick Street parking areas. Henry Street will be closed to all southbound vehicular traffic from the hours of 9:15 am until the conclusion of the football game. Guests seeking handicapped accessible parking will need to show their handicapped permit to the officer at the street barricade and directed to a reserved area. Yellow Jacket Club Donors and Special Guests who park in the Day Field lot will be permitted down Henry Street.
PARKING Free Parking Free parking is available in limited parking lots on the R-MC Campus on a first-come, first serve basis. Fans coming to the game are strongly encouraged to arrive early. Guests are encouraged to park for free in any lot that is designated visitor parking including the Leachman lot, and all parking areas surrounding the Banks Tennis Center. Paid Parking All paid parking will be available along West Patrick Street. These locations will include the Old Tennis court lot, the West Athletic field lot, the 500 N. Center lot, the Mill's Lot east and the Mill's lot west. Parking in these designated areas will be $10 per car (cash only). [Tailgate Patrons with game day hangtags will not be charged to park in these lots.] Satellite Parking: Due to large expected crowds for the "The Game", satellite parking with shuttle service will be available on Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm at Gandy Elementary School and Hanover School Board parking lots, located approximately ¼ mile north of Bennett Hall on Henry Street. Guests taking advantage of satellite parking are encouraged to enter the parking area from Archie Cannon Drive off of N Washington Highway (Route 1). Special Needs Parking: Special needs parking will be made available on East Patrick Street from the corner of Henry Street to the eastbound corner of Calhoun Street, encompassing one full block. When special needs guests arrive, please show the parking attendant your handicapped eligible parking pass/license plate for admission. This parking is available on a first come first served basis and fills up quickly. Guests needing special needs parking are strongly encouraged to use the shuttle service from Gandy Elementary School. The shuttle will drop guests off directly in front of the visitor's entrance to Day Field.
TICKETS There will be no presale of tickets. Tickets will be sold at 10:00 am on the day of the game and are $10 per person. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Ticket sales are cash only; no bills greater than $50.00 will be accepted at the ticket tent. Tickets will be sold until the conclusion of the game. All fans will need a ticket for entry and re-entry to Day Field. Tickets will be sold in two locations. Fans can report to the yellow ticket tent at the WEST entrance of Day Field, behind the home seating area OR use the auxiliary location on the EAST side of Day Field behind the visiting seating area (along Henry Street) Students/Faculty/Staff can pick-up tickets at either of the areas mentioned above or outside of Alumni Gym at the Randolph-Macon College tent R-MC Athletic Recruits can pick-up tickets at the Randolph-Macon College tent outside of Alumni Gym.
WILL CALL: General Will Call booths are located at the main ticket tent behind the home team stands and on Henry Street next to the visitor's entrance to Day Field. Will Call will open at 10:00 am. Photo I.D. must be present to claim all will call tickets. Please arrive early to avoid long lines. Each team's pass list will also be held at Will Call. Faculty/Staff/Students will be required to have a ticket for entry and re-entry to Day Field. R-MC ID's will not be accepted at the entry gates. Tickets can be picked up at the Randolph-Macon tent located outside of Alumni Gym.
GATE OPENING TIMES: Day Field will be closed for pre-game preparations at 9:55 am. The stadium will re-open to ticketed fans at 11:00 am.
EXIT & RE-ENTRY: Attendees are permitted to exit and enter freely, however events staff will require a ticket for re-entry beginning at 11:00am throughout the duration of the game.
BAG CHECK: Attendees carrying bags, including book bags, will be subject to inspection prior to entering the Day Field Stadium. These will be conducted at each gate prior to entry and each time thereafter if you choose to exit and re-enter.
FOOD/BEVERAGES/ALCOHOL POLICIES: No outside food or beverages are allowed inside Day Field Stadium.
COOLERS will also not be permitted.
CONCESSIONS: There will be two concession areas; one outside of the north end zone on the home side along with an auxiliary area located between Andrews Hall and the visiting team seating area. All concessions are cash or charge only.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms are available in the Andrews Hall lobby area, Brock Recreation Center, Crenshaw Gymnasium, and breezeway of Birdsong Pavilion, as well as Portable restrooms stationed throughout the tailgating area, and parking lots.
BABY / INFANT CHANGING AREAS: Available in the women's bathroom located on the first floor of Crenshaw Gymnasium.
CAMPUS BOOKSTORE: The Campus Bookstore will be open in the Brock Commons from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
BROADCASTS: "The Game" will be broadcast on WHAN 1430 AM & 102.9 FM
CAMERAS AND VIDEO CAMERAS: Cameras and camcorders are allowed in Day Field, however tripods are prohibited.
ANIMALS: Identified working service animals for guests with disabilities are allowed in Day Field. Certification is required. All other animals are prohibited inside the Day Field Stadium.
FAN BEHAVIOR: Randolph-Macon and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference promote good sportsmanship by studentathletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.
FIELD ACCESS: Authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before or during the game. Any unauthorized person going on to the field at that time will be removed and subject to ejection and/or arrest. Fans will be permitted access to the field, in an orderly manner, immediately following the end of the game. Any fans acting disruptive or disorderly will be subject to immediate removal and/or arrest.
MEDIA ACCESS: All media access needs to be secured prior to game day. No credentials will be distributed on game day. Please contact Phil Stanton, Sports Information Director, for any and all media passes.
TOBACCO PRODUCTS: Tobacco products are strictly prohibited in any area of Day Field Stadium.
SMITH TAILGATE AREA: The Smith Alumni Tailgating Area is open and accessible to all game day fans. The Smith Tailgate Area is an ABC licensed area, and as such, proof of age will be required for admission into the area. Please comply with all events staff when they request identification. Disruptive behavior or failure to comply with Virginia alcohol laws will result in immediate dismissal from the tailgate area and legal sanctions. The Smith Alumni Tailgating area will open at 9:30 am for those guests who have reserved a grass space and 10:00 am for those with a parking space. The tailgate area closes promptly at 5:00 pm following the game.
