ASHLAND, Va. - For the second consecutive year, the Randolph-Macon football program hosted a blood drive on campus to benefit the Virginia Blood Services.

The blood drive was one of the many community projects sponsored by the Yellow Jacket football program.

On Tuesday, Jan. 23, more than 30 representatives of the R-MC football program registered and donated blood, including five members of the Yellow Jacket coaching staff.

January is always a difficult month for the Virginia Blood Services, as illness and inclement weather contribute to reduced collections.
