Fullers Ties for Second at Glenn Heath Memorial Tournament

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Junior Kyle Fuller (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) finished in a tie for second out of 38 golfers at the Glenn Heath Memorial Tournament at the Williamsburg Club.

The tournament was scheduled to go over two days, but the teams played two rounds on Monday due to the high probability of inclement weather on Tuesday.

Fuller shot 75 for the first round, matching the lowest score in Round 1. He shot 75 in the second round as well for a total of 150, three shots behind medalist Ben Hunter of the Apprentice School. Fuller helped the Yellow Jackets finish fourth in the team standings.

Freshman Adam Tuttle (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield Secondary) was 11th with a score of 160 (80-80), followed by freshman Justin Lynn (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) at 172 (89-83), senior Andrew Farrell (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield) at 176 (89-87) and freshman Dalton Taylor (Falls Church, Va./McLean) at 182 (87-95).

R-MC will participate in the ODAC Championship on April 27-29 in Conover, N.C.
