R-MC Rises Two Spots to Finish Fifth at Shenandoah Invitational

FRONT ROYAL, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's golf team improved two places to finish fifth out of 10 teams Sunday at the Shenandoah Invitational.

The Yellow Jackets were 12 strokes better in Round 2 than Round 1, the second-best improvement among the ten squads.

Senior Kyle Fuller (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) tied for 10th at 149 (78-71), followed by senior Bobby Bradshaw (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) at 152 (76-76), senior Wes Bourdon (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) at 155 (79-76), freshman Kirby Struhar (Sterling, Va./Park View) at 154 (78-76) and sophomore Adam Tuttle (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield Secondary) at 167 (81-86).

Fuller improved by seven strokes from Round 1 to Round 2, the fifth-best improvement among the 52 individuals.

R-MC will participate in the VSGA Championship Sept. 29 and 30 in Laurel Fork, Va.
