McDonagh Tied for 15th after Round 1 of ODAC Men's Golf Championship

WINTERGREEN, Va. – Sophomore Matthew McDonagh (Winston-Salem, N.C./Mount Tabor) is tied for 15th out of 50 individuals after the first round of the ODAC Men's Golf Championship.

McDonagh shot 78 and is seven strokes behind the leaders.

Freshman Trey Razzetti (Glen Allen, Va./Benedictine) was one shot behind McDonagh at 79, followed by sophomore Kirby Struhar (Sterling, Va./Park View) at 85, sophomore Peter Shaner (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) at 86 and freshman Chase Childers (Issue, Md./La Plata) at 88.

The second round of the three-round event will be held on Monday, April 25.
