Robert Brajdic Named BGMC Swimmer of the Week

ASHLAND, VA -- Randolph-Macon sophomore Robert Brajdic has been selected as the BGMC Swimmer of the Week for the first time in his career as the league announced its weekly award on Monday. Brajdic won two events, the 100 Back and the 200 Free, in the meet against Mary Washington on November 9th.

He swam the second fastest time in school history in the 100 back (55.03), just .66 away from breaking the school record he set against St. Mary's (54.37).

The sophomore from Roanoke, VA capped his events with his fourth first place finish of the season in the 200 Free, touching the wall in 1:50.11.

The men will return to the pool this weekend as they host the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Collegiate School Aquatic Center on December 1st and 2nd.
