Randolph-Macon Men's Tennis Defeated by Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The R-MC men's tennis team dropped its match to Juniata 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.  

R-MC falls to 3-4 for the season while Juniata improves to 2-1. 

In doubles R-MC fell 3-0, the Yellow Jackets competed closely at the number one spot. Partners freshman Grant Sarver (Richmond, Va./ Godwin) and junior Baxter Carter (Richmond, Va./ St. Christopher's) fell to the Juniata pair 8-6. 

The R-MC men battled in singles and forced the Juniata team to win by close margins. At the number four flight, senior Alex Curnow (Culpepper, Va./ Midlothian) played a very close match losing 7-6 in the first set. He then lost 6-3 in the second set.

R-MC will be back in action on Saturday with a road match against Roanoke starting at 10 a.m.
