Bowling Leads R-MC to a Second Place Finish After Day One of the W&L Invitational

ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon College Women's Golf team concluded the first day of the 2012 Washington and Lee Invitational at Lexington Country Club on Monday in second-place.

The Yellow Jackets shot a team total of 372. Olivia Bowling led the team with a first day score of 84 to place her third on the leaderboard.

Tracy Moriconi posted a score of 89 to place sixth individually while teammate Rebecca Ream shot 96 on the day to stand in a tie for 12th place individually.

Hollins University shot a team-best 351 to lead in the team standings, 21 shots ahead of R-MC.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action tomorrow to close out the tournament.
