ASHLAND, VA – Randolph-Macon Women's Golf took sixth place out of ten teams in the inaugural Randolph-Macon Invitational Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets shot a team score of 720 (+144) and led all ODAC schools in the field.
R-MC improved by 24 strokes as a team on day two, led by Olivia Bowling who shot a second day score of 79 to bring her two day total to 166 (+22). Bowling's performance placed her in a 13th place tie individually.
Tracy Moriconi ranked 29th overall with a two day score of 175 (+31). Moriconi improved her score by three strokes in the second round.
Rebecca Ream had the biggest improvement for Randolph-Macon, shaving 13 strokes off of her score to bring her total to 177 (+33).
Methodist University took first place with a team total of 630 (+54) and also had the top golfer, Kelsie Carralero, who shot a tournament best 148 (+4).
