Jackets Eighth after Round 1 of W&M Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's golf team sits in eighth place after the first round of the William & Mary Invitational at The Plantation Course at Kingsmill. 

The Yellow Jackets have an aggregate score of 343 and are 32 strokes ahead of Division I Hampton. Host William & Mary is tied with Morehead State for first at 294.

Sophomore Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) led the Jackets and tied for 23rd at 79. Sophomore Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) shot 85, followed by freshman Katie Raymond (Rice, Va./Fuqua) at 87 and sophomore Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) at 92. 

Round 2 will be played on Monday, Sept. 16.
