WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's golf team remained in eighth place after two round of the W&M Invitational at The Plantation Course at Kingsmill.
The Yellow Jackets shot 344 in the second round after a 343 in Round 1. R-MC holds a 62-shot lead over Division I Hampton.
Sophomore Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) leads the Jackets and is tied for 26th out of 51 individuals with a two-round score of 157. She shot 78 after a first-round 79. Sophomore Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) stands second on the team at 173, followed by Samantha Cameron (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill) at 179, freshman Katie Raymond (Rice, Va./Fuqua) at 180 and sophomore Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) at 185.
The third and final round will be played on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
