Jackets Finish Eighth at W&M Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Sophomore Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) tied for 22nd to lead the Randolph-Macon women's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the William & Mary Invitational at The Plantation Course at Kingsmill.

Bowling shot a five-over 76 to finish the three-round event at 233. She scored better than 24 Division I golfers.

Sophomore Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) was second on the team at 260, followed by freshman Katie Raymond (Rice, Va./Fuqua) at 274, sophomore Samantha Cameron (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill) at 276 and sophomore Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) at 277.

R-MC compiled an overall score of 1036 and finished 79 shots ahead of Division I Hampton.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Oct. 7-8 at the Washington and Lee Invitational in Lexington, Va.
