Bowling Earns Runner-Up Honors at Randolph-Macon Invitational

ASHLAND, Va. – Sophomore Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) finished second with a five-over 77, leading the Randolph-Macon women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Randolph-Macon Invitational Monday at the Hanover Country Club.

The event was scheduled for two days, but Tuesday's second round was canceled due to expected inclement weather.

Bowling finished one shot behind medalist Kelsie Carrafero of Methodist (76). 

Sophomore Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) was tied for 10th out of 51 golfers at 88. Freshman Jenny Jeu (Midlothian, Va./James River) tied for 21st at 95, followed by Junior Danielle Calhoun (Colonial Heights, Va./Colonial Heights) at 97 and sophomore Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) at 99.

Sophomore Samantha Cameron (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill) shot 95 to tie for 21st and freshman Katie Raymond (Rice, Va./Fuqua) shot 96 to tie for 24th as both participated as individuals.

The Yellow Jackets return to action April 12-13 at the Methodist Invitational in Fayetteville, N.C.
