Bowling, Yellow Jackets Finish Fourth at Methodist Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Junior Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) finished tied for fourth out of 48 in the individual standings and led the Randolph-Macon women's golf team to a fourth-place team finish at the Methodist Spring Invitational.

Bowling shot 78 on Saturday in Round 1 and improved by a stroke on Sunday in Round 2 for a two-day total of 155, three shots behind medalist Emily Javadi of Sewanee.

Junior Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) tied for 20th at 174 (86-88), followed by junior Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) at 175 (90-85), sophomore Katie Raymond (Rice, Va./Fuqua) at 186 (91-95) and senior Danielle Calhoun (Colonial Heights, Va./Colonial Heights) at 193 (99-94).

The Yellow Jackets will compete in the ODAC Championship April 19-21 at the Rock Barn Resort in Conover, N.C. R-MC is the two-time defending champion and Bowling is two-time medalist.
