Bowling Paces Yellow Jackets at Nittany Lion Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Senior Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) was the top performer for Randolph-Macon and tied for 40th overall after two rounds of the Nittany Lion Invitational.

The Yellow Jackets improved by five shots from round 1 (341) to round 2 (336).

Bowling shot 83 in the first round and 79 in the second round for 162. Freshman Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) was second on the team at 171 (85-86), followed by senior Tracy Moriconi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) (86-87) and freshman Ruby Rim (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) (87-86) at 173, senior Rebecca Ream (York, Pa./York Country Day) at 174 (89-85) and freshman Mia Alan (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville).

The third and final round will be played on Sunday, Sept. 6.
