Bowling Named ODAC Golfer of the Week for the Third Time

FOREST, Va. – Randolph-Macon senior Olivia Bowling (Charlotte Hall, Md./St. Mary’s Ryken) was named ODAC Player of the Week for women’s golf for the third time this year.

Bowling finished third out of 48 individuals and helped the 29th-ranked Randolph-Macon women’s golf team place in a tie for third in the team standings at the Methodist Spring Invitational.

The senior improved by two shots from Round 1 to Round 2, shooting 84 Sunday after an 86 Saturday for total of 170. The Yellow Jackets finished at 720, behind a pair of squads from Methodist.

Bowling was also selected ODAC Player of the Week on March 28 after finishing first out of 44 golfers in the Max and Susan Stith Invitational as well as on October 19 after placing eighth out of 90 players at the Golfweek Fall Invitational DIII.

Randolph-Macon return to action April 24-26 at the ODAC Championship at Stoney Creek Golf Club in Wintergreen, Va.
