R-MC Women's Golf Holds Five of Top Six Spots at Revolutionary Classic

ELKTON, Md. - The Randolph-Macon women's golf team held five of the top six individual spots after the first round of the 2017 Revolutionary Collegiate Golf Classic at the Patriots Glen Golf Club.

The Yellow Jackets are first out of three squads in the team standings. R-MC shot 321, the fourth-lowest round in program history.

Junior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) placed second with 78, one shot behind the leader. Sophomore Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) was third at 79. Junior Emmy Saathoff (Catonsville, Md./Notre Dame) sat in fourth at 81. Senior Aven Oliver (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) was fifth at 83. Junior Mia Koch (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) was sixth at 88.

The second and final round will be played on Sunday.
