Lewis, R-MC Women's Golf Finish First at Revolutionary Classic

ELKTON, Md. - Junior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) took the individual title and the Randolph-Macon women's golf squad claimed the team title at the 2017 Revolutionary Collegiate Golf Classic at the Patriots Glen Golf Club.

The Yellow Jackets were first out of three squads in the team standings.

Lewis had the low round of the day at 81 and finished on top with a score of 159 (78-81). Junior Emmy Saathoff (Catonsville, Md./Notre Dame) was second at 165 (81-84). Sophomore Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) was one shot behind in a tie for third at 166 (79-87). Senior Aven Oliver (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) and junior Mia Koch (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) tied for fifth at 171. Oliver shot 83-88, while Koch shot 88-83.

Randolph-Macon has concluded the fall portion of its schedule.
