R-MC Women's Golf in Fourth at Hilton Head Lakes Invitational

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Randolph-Macon women's golf team is in fourth place out of 11 squads in the team standings after the first round of the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational.

The Yellow Jackets shot 327 in Round 1 and lead a pair of ODAC programs. Bridgewater is fifth at 320 and Emory & Henry is 11th at 445.

Junior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) led the Yellow Jackets with a three-over 75, tied for 13th out of 57 in the individual standings. Sophomore Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) shot 83, followed by junior Emmy Saathoff (Catonsville, Md./Institute of Notre Dame), junior Mia Koch (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) at 85 and senior Aven Oliver (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) at 88.

The second and final round will be played on Tuesday.
