BRISTOL, Va. - Former Randolph-Macon pitcher Colin Selby made his professional debut this past Saturday with the Bristol Pirates of the Appalachian League.
Selby was scripted to pitch the first three innings against the undefeated Elizabethton Twins, who had posted a 19-5 victory over Bristol the previous night. Selby retired all nine batters he faced with two strikeouts. He threw 26 pitches, of which 21 were strikes.
