Largo to Compete in World Para Powerlifting Championships

ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon sophomore Christian Largo is in Bogata, Colombia, to compete in the 2018 World Para Powerlifting Championships.

Largo was chosen as the flag bearer for the United States team for the opening ceremonies on Thursday, Dec. 6. He earned a silver medal in the 2017 World Para Powerlifting Championships in Mexico City.

A manager on the R-MC men's basketball team, Largo's parents, Ed and Shelley, are members of the R-MC Parents Board.

Largo begins competition on Friday, Dec. 7 at 3:45 p.m. Here is a link for live streaming:
