R-MC Men's Hoops Remains No. 1 in NCAA South Region

ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's basketball team continues to hold the top spot in the second NCAA South Region rankings.

The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 5 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, are 22-2 overall and 14-1 in the ODAC. R-MC has won nine straight games and has secured its third consecutive ODAC regular-season crown. The Yellow Jackets will be the top seed in next week's ODAC Tournament in Salem, Va.

Against other schools in the Top 8 in the South Region, R-MC owns wins over No. 3 Emory, No. 5 Lynchburg, No. 7 Washington & Lee and No. 8 Roanoke.

Randolph-Macon concludes its regular-season schedule on Saturday, Feb. 16 with a 4:30 p.m. ODAC contest at Eastern Mennonite. The Yellow Jackets will play their ODAC Tournament quarterfinal game on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Salem Civic Center.
