ROANOKE, VA – Randolph-Macon Men's Golf shot a two day score of 629 (+61) to place ninth out of 14 teams in the Roanoke College Spring Invitational over the weekend.
Kyle Fuller led the Yellow Jackets and placed ninth individually out of the 76 golfer field after shooting a 152 (+10). Fuller was tied for first after posting a first round score of 72.
Patrick Hopkins used a second round score of 72 to place 10th overall with a two day total of 153 (+11). The sophomore's second round score led all golfers as the lowest score of the second round.
Senior Hunter Weaver finished in a tie for 39th with a total score of 161 (+19). Weaver shaved nine strokes off of his first round score to shoot a 76 on day two.
Men's Golf will now wait for the ODAC Championships to take place on April 21st in Cape Charles, VA.
