Fuller Finishes Second at Marlin Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Junior Kyle Fuller (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) earned a second-place finish at the Marlin Invitational at the Red Wing Lake Golf Course.

Fuller shot 79 on Monday after an opening-round 74 on Sunday for a total of 153, four strokes behind medalist Kyle Mutter of the Apprentice School.  He helped the Yellow Jackets finish third in the team standings.

Junior Bobby Bradshaw (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) was fifth at 159 (81-78). Senior Andrew Farrell finished 12th (86-83=169), followed by freshman Dalton Taylor (Falls Church, Va./McLean) at No. 15 (89-84=173) and sophomore Lucas Powell (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) at No. 19 (85-91=176).

R-MC returns to the links on April 14-15 at the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial Tournament in Williamsburg, Va. This will be the final regular-season tournament before the ODAC Championship on April 27-29 in Conover, N.C.
