Fuller Finishes 10th as R-MC Places Sixth at Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Randolph-Macon senior Kyle Fuller (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) finished in a tie for 10th out of 70 individuals at the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial Monday at the Williamsburg Club.

Due to the high probability of rain on Tuesday, two rounds were played on Monday.

The Yellow Jackets placed sixth out of 13 schools in the team standings. R-MC shot 324 in the first round and improved by 10 strokes in Round 2 at 314.

Fuller shot 79 in the first round and improved to 74 in Round 2 for a total of 153.

Freshman Matthew McDonagh (Winston-Salem, N.C./Mount Tabor) was tied for 15th at 157 (80-77), followed by senior Wes Bourdon (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) at 161 (80-81), freshman Nick Stottlemyer (Port Tobacco, Md./McDonough) at 167 (85-82) and senior Bobby Bradshaw (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) at 169 (87-82).

Randolph-Macon will participate in the ODAC Championship April 19-21 at the Rock Barn Resort in Conover, N.C.
