As a sophomore (Fall ’16):  Childers played in two events totaling four rounds during the Fall season for the Yellow Jackets... Childers played in the Shenandoah Invitational and the Ted Keller Memorial tournament in which he shot his lowest round of 81.

As a freshman (2015-16):  Played in the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate and Roanoke Invitational tournaments totaling four rounds on the season.


Personal: Chase attended La Plata High School where he played golf and baseball...He helped both teams claim the Regional Championships in 2012 and 2013...His baseball team won the Conference Championship in 2012 and 2013 and the golf team won the Conference Championship in 2013 and 2014...Chase was named MVP in 2012 and 2014 and received the Warrior Award in 2011...He was a member of Model UN and the Memorial Garden Society and his acapella group was the ICHSA Northeast Champion...He intends to major in political science.

Chase's father, John Childers, played baseball at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
