As junior (Fall ’16):  Struhar played in three events totaling six rounds during the Fall season...  Struhar shot his lowest round of 74 during the Shenandoah Invitational tournament.

As a sophomore (2015-16):  Played in seven events totaling 15 rounds on the season... Struhar’s lowest round of 73 came during the Yellow Jackets home event, the Ted Keller Memorial tournament, in which Struhar finished tied for 11th.


As a freshman (2014-15): In his first season with the Yellow Jackets, Kirby played in eight events, totaling 15 rounds...He led the freshman with a 77.73 scoring average (second on the team)...Struhar set a season-low and tallied one round under par with a 69 in the second round of the Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate (3/28/2015).

Personal: Kirby attended Park View High School where he played golf and wrestling...Struhar received the coaches award as a freshman...For golf, Struhar received Rookie of the Year honors and was a three-time MVP in his prep career...As a senior, Struhar was named to the All-Region team...Kirby was the senior class historian and a member of DECA, Future Business Leaders of America and the Loudoun County Youth Advisory Council...Kirby's uncle, Ed Kirby, played golf for Furman University and played in four U.S. Opens and on the PGA Tour...Kirby's father, Andy Struhar, played baseball at Longwood...Kirby intends to pursue a degree in political science and economics.
