Nelson, Fernandez Tie for 4th at Ted Keller Memorial

ASHLAND, Va. - Junior Alex Nelson (Weems, Va./Lancaster) and freshman Ryan Fernandez (Selangor, Malaysia) tied for fourth out of 55 individuals, helping the Randolph-Macon men's golf team finish third out of 10 teams Tuesday after the second and final round of the Ted Keller Memorial at the Hanover Golf Club.

Nelson shot 3-over 74 in Round 2 to finish at 5-over 147. He had birdies on No. 4 and No. 17 on Tuesday.

Fernandez was 4 over at 75 in Round 2 to also finish at 147, three shots behind co-leaders Jared Berlin and Justin Lankler of Franklin & Marshall. Fernandez carded four birdies on Tuesday.

Senior Christian Fagan (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) improved by eight shots from Round 1 to Round 2, while senior Trey Razzetti (Glen Allen, Va./Benedictine) cut seven strokes from his score on Monday to Tuesday.
