Razzetti, Childers Finish 1-2 as R-MC Men's Golf Wins Glenn Heath Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Senior Trey Razzetti (Glen Allen, Va./Benedictine) earned medalist honors and senior Chase Childers (Issue, Md./La Plata) finished second as the Randolph-Macon men's golf team finished first out of nine teams at the Glenn Heath Memorial at the Williamsburg Club.

Razzetti shot one-over 73 in each round to finish at 146. Childers fired  a 75 in each round to finish second at 150.

Freshman Ryan Fernandez (Selagor, Malaysia) finished eighth at 154 (75-78), followed by junior Alex Nelson (Weems, Va./Lancaster) in ninth at 157 (81-76) and junior Tom Schaffer (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) at 179 (89-90).

The Yellow Jackets had three players participate as individuals. Senior Patrick Dotter (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's) shot 170 (90-80), followed by sophomore Grant Burchette (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra) at 171 (83-88) and senior Christian Fagan (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) at 178 (89-89).

Randolph-Macon will compete in the ODAC Championships April 28-30 at the Bryan Park Golf Club in Greensboro, N.C.
