Muncie Scores Three against #22 Washington and Lee

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's lacrosse team fell 26-6 to #22 Washington and Lee on Saturday afternoon.

R-MC finishes the regular season with an 8-9 overall and 4-5 ODAC record.

Junior Miles Muncie (Midlothian, Va./ Midlothian) scored three goals and led the Yellow Jackets in points in the game. Muncie finishes the regular season as the Yellow Jackets' leading goal scorer with 35.

Sophomore goalkeeper Chris Cerrina (Ridgewood, N.J./ Ridgewood) recorded 14 saves, his season best.

Senior Sam Mayer (Severna Park, Md./ Severna Park) added one to his impressive season assist tally, finishing with a team best 41.

Senior Mitch Behl (Glen Allen, Va./ Deep Run) had one goal and one assist in the game. Also scoring for R-MC was freshman Davis Hitt (Annapolis, Md./ Annapolis) and freshman James Mahan (Salem, Va./ Salem).

Sophomore Lee Pratt (Winston-Salem, N.C./ Ronald Reagan) and freshman Ryan Tiffey (Colombia, Md./ Wilde Lake) both registered an assist.

Freshman Tyler Flora (Mechanicsville, Va./ Hanover) returned to field from injury with two caused turnovers and three groundballs, both team highs in the game.

The Yellow Jackets will play as the #6 seed in the ODAC tournament at Lynchburg at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd.
