Mayer Earns Invite to North-South Game

PERRY, N.Y. - Randolph-Macon senior midfielder Sam Mayer (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) will participate in the 2017 Division III USILA/Nike North-South Game.

The game will be played on Friday, May 26 at 3 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College in Providence, R.I. The Division I-II game will be played at 5:30 p.m.

Mayer was named All-ODAC Second Team. He was second in the ODAC with 44 assists and topped the Yellow Jackets with 54 points. Mayer had 10 goals, 34 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. He had a season-best seven assists with one goal in a victory over Randolph. During his four-year career at R-MC, Mayer amassed 113 points and 104 ground balls.
