  • Marsilio’s Behind-The-Back Blast Ends Game for Men’s Lacrosse

    With under a second to play, freshman Derek Marsilio (Harrisburg, PA / Bishop McDevitt) took a no-look behind the back shot at the cage following a pass from junior Colin DiSesa (Ashland, VA / Hanover). The try snuck into the opposite side of the cage and closed out an otherwise evenly-matched competition that saw six ties and five lead changes over the 64 minute game.

    Sophomore Camden Stramanak (Annapolis, MD / Annapolis) was honored by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association with a spot on its weekly honor roll this week. Stramanak was named to the Team of the Week after his efforts in Randolph-Macon’s comeback victory against Goucher this past weekend.
  • Men’s Lacrosse Rallies To Beat Goucher

    Down 8-3 in the third period, Randolph-Macon Men’s Lacrosse rallied for five straight goals, tying the match before eventually sending it to overtime with a literal last-second goal. In overtime, the Yellow Jackets found the golden goal to win their Saturday afternoon match under rainy conditions.

    Randolph-Macon Men’s Lacrosse has been slotted fifth in the annual Old Dominion Athletic Conference preseason poll. The poll was revealed Friday afternoon. R-MC finished in fifth place in the ODAC Standings last season and made a quarterfinal appearance in the ODAC Tournament.

    Randolph-Macon Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach J.B. Sheridan has announced the 2019 schedule for his Yellow Jackets. The schedule was announced Friday afternoon. The team will face three teams on the USILA/Warrior and New Balance Men’s Coaches Pre-Season Division III poll.
