ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon juniors Tyler Flora (Mechanicsville, VA / Hanover) and Camden Stramanak (Annapolis, MD / Annapolis) have been named to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-South Region squad. Randolph-Macon recently wrapped up its most impressive season ever, setting a program record for number of wins. Randolph-Macon finished the season 13-5 overall and finished fourth in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference standings.
Flora earned First Team All-Region status as a short-stick defensive midfielder. He led the team with 88 ground balls, which was sixth most in the ODAC. Flora was critical in getting the attacking unit opportunities and even took a few opportunities himself, scoring seven goals and made nine assists to total 16 points. His 24 caused turnovers was a top 10 mark in the conference. The All-Region pick follows his selection to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American squad as an Honorable Mention choice. Flora was also named First Team All-ODAC as a short-stick.
Stramanak was selected as an Honorable Mention defender in the All-Region announcement. Stramanak led the conference in caused turnovers. He was all over the defending third this season, causing havoc for opposing offenses. He collected 41 caused turnovers and 42 ground balls. He made an impact offensively as well, scoring seven goals, many off ground ball pickups on faceoffs. Stramanak also earned First-Team All-ODAC honors.
