Lowe Registers Four Saves as Jackets Fall to Eagles

ASHLAND, Va. – Senior goalkeeper Cris Lowe (Rome, Ga./Darlington Academy) recorded four saves as Randolph-Macon dropped its home opener 4-0 to Mary Washington.

The Eagles (2-1) scored less than three minutes into the contest and posted three goals in the first half before adding one score in the final two minutes.

Senior defender Brock Barbeau (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk) and sophomore forward Andrew Oakes (Fredericksburg, Va./Courtland) both had shots on goal for the Yellow Jackets (1-2). UWM held a 22-4 advantage in shots.

R-MC travels to Hood on Saturday, Sept. 7, for a 4:30 p.m. contest. The Jackets return home on Saturday, Sept. 14, for a 12:00 p.m. match-up with Roanoke to begin ODAC play.
