    Randolph-Macon junior midfielder Anthony Astruc (Glen Allen, Va. / Benedictine) earned a postseason honor from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference as announced by the league Thursday morning. Astruc earned a spot on the conferences’ All-ODAC Second Team. Astruc is the Yellow Jackets’ lone representative on the 2018 teams.

The match will now be played at 7:35 PM and will be moved from the grass soccer field to the turf at Day Field.

  • Overtime Goal Nets Men’s Soccer Season Opening Win

    Junior Anthony Astruc (Glen Allen, Va. / Benedictine) hit the game-winner in the first overtime period to give Randolph-Macon men’s soccer a win in its season opener against Baruch Friday afternoon. The overtime thriller went scoreless for 80 minutes of play before the first goal was scored. The game was part of Catholic University’s Turk Emekli Classic, which continues tomorrow at The Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland. The Classic is part of the opening weekend for Division III Men’s Soccer.
  • Men’s Soccer Ranks Fourth In Preseason Poll

    Randolph-Macon men’s soccer has been picked to finish fourth this season in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference poll, as voted on by the ODAC head coaches and announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon. R-MC received 105 points and sits behind the University of Lynchburg, Washington and Lee and Roanoke.

    The 2017-18 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State Team was released and 217 student-athletes from 37 colleges and universities across the Commonwealth were recognized.

    Randolph-Macon men’s soccer will face five teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2018 along with two teams ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Division III National Top 25 and two teams receiving votes in the same poll. In addition, R-MC will face four teams that were ranked in the South Atlantic Region.
