Tennis Falls in Dual Match Versus Guilford

ASHLAND, Va--- Randolph-Macon College fell in both men's and women's tennis against Guilford Friday afternoon.  The men battled to 6-3 loss, while the women fell 9-0.

The Guilford men (10-6 / 7-1 ODAC) used a 3-0 sweep in doubles to propel itself to the victory. 

R-MC (4-7 / 1-4 ODAC) was led by Mederick Ceril who won for the tenth straight time in No. 1 singles action improving to 10-1 overall.  He topped Tyler Mercier, 6-3,1-6, 6-4 and his only loss of the year came against Division I George Mason.

Ira Usry defeated Colin Rapp 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 in No. 4 singles and Frank Donnelly beat Mark Cheong, 5-7, 6-2, and 10-3 in number five singles.

The Randolph-Macon women fell to Guilford 9-0 on the afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets return to action tomorrow afternoon.  The women will play host to Trinity at 1:00 p.m.
