Randolph-Macon freshman Kyle Alberici (Cicero, N.Y. / Cicero North Syracuse) earned recognition from the Continental Volleyball Conference for his work in the classroom this season. Alberici was named to the CVC's All-Academic squad. Members of the CVC All-Academic team must have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or above to receive honors.
Randolph-Macon junior Lee Olenyik (Mechanicsville, Va. / Hanover) earned honors from the Continental Volleyball Conference it was announced Wednesday afternoon. Olenyik garnered a spot on the All-CVC Third Team for his work in Randolph-Macon’s inaugural season.
Randolph-Macon Men’s Volleyball closed out its home slate in its inaugural season with a home conference match with Juniata Saturday afternoon. R-MC hit over .200 in the second two sets and had three players hit over .300 on the afternoon.

Junior Lee Olenyik (Mechanicsville, Va. / Hanover) made seven kills and two blocks to total nine points on the evening, but the sixth-ranked Mustangs proved to be too much as Stevenson defeated Randolph-Macon 3-0 in Friday night non-conference action.

In its inaugural season, Randolph-Macon men’s volleyball is picked to finish eighth by the coaches of the Continental Volleyball Conference. The CVC sponsors men’s volleyball for 12 institutions along the East Coast for which their primary membership conference does not sponsor men’s volleyball.
The Randolph-Macon Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) 2018-19 roster has been determined. Each of our 18 varsity sports has members that represent their team. Members were nominated by their head coaches.
Randolph-Macon men’s volleyball has announced the first schedule in team history. The schedule includes a full slate of Continental Volleyball Conference action as well a match against the reigning Middle Atlantic Conference champion Stevenson. Four programs that R-MC will face are also launching inaugural seasons. Four teams on the calendar were ranked in last year’s final American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, with one more receiving votes.
Randolph-Macon’s inaugural men’s volleyball season now has names and faces to complete its roster. Head Coach Jared Horrigan have announced the 13 men who will make up the first roster in the team’s opening season. Randolph-Macon will commence play in January 2019 and will play in the Continental Volleyball Conference.
