ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Head Softball Coach Kevin Proffitt has announced details for summer camps with the Randolph-Macon softball program. Options for ages 5-18 are available throughout the summer, as are Day and Overnight options.
The camps program at R-MC will begin in June with Day Camp from June 25-29. This camp is geared for girls ages 5-13 and will teach fundamentals of softball. The goal for each camper is to improve throughout the week while having a great time. Camp will run from 9:00-3:00 except on June 29 (9:00-12:00). The cost is $285, which includes a camp T-Shirt. Campers will need to bring a glove, water bottle and lunch. Swimming will be included as part of camp.
Camp will continue in July with camps for older girls, ages 8-18. The camps will take place from July 23-26 and will include Overnight, Extended Day and Day options. Overnight, Extended Day and Day camps also teach and improve on the fundamentals of softball and is for all ability levels. Campers will learn, develop and enhance their skills in all phases of softball. The cost will be $495, $395 and $325 respectively. Overnight campers will stay on campus in the dorms of Randolph-Macon College.
All camps will take place at the Randolph-Macon softball facility.
