  • Women’s Basketball Ranked In Pair Of Polls

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball has risen into the Top 25 of two national polls this week. The Yellow Jackets (9-1, 5-0 ODAC) have been ranked as the 23rd team in the nation by both the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and D3Hoops.com.
  • Williams Named ODAC Player of the Week

    Randolph-Macon junior forward Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week. This is the second honor for Williams this season and the third honor for a Yellow Jacket since the season kicked off.
  • Back-And-Forth Contest Results In Women’s Basketball Win At #18 E&H

    In a game that went back-and-forth for the entire duration of the game, Randolph-Macon women’s basketball dug deep to pull out a three-point victory on the road Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets used free throws down the stretch to preserve the victory and outscored the 18th-ranked Wasps in the critical fourth quarter.
  • Williams Triple-Double, Wisner Double-Double in R-MC Women's Hoops Win

    Junior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) recorded her first collegiate triple-double with 18 points, 19 rebounds and a career-best 11 blocks, while senior Kelsey Wisner (York, Pa./Central York) registered her first collegiate double-double with 13 points and a career-high 11 assists, as the Randolph-Macon women's basketball team won its eighth straight win, topping St. Mary's (Md.) 80-48 Thursday evening in Crenshaw Gym.
  • Two Yellow Jackets Score 20+ In Win At UMW

    Juniors Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) and Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va. / Glen Allen) each scored more than 20 points en route to a Yellow Jacket victory at Mary Washington Tuesday night. Williams recorded her eighth double-double in as many games this season. Ross has scored 20 points in three games in her career, with two coming in the most recent two games.
  • Lewis Leads Women’s Basketball Against Hollins

    Freshman Lauren Lewis (Mount Laurel, N.J. / Rancocas Valley Regional) scored 23 points and led all scorers while junior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) scored her seventh double-double in as many games – a mark that is leading the nation. Senior Jayla Wade (Newport News, Va. / Heritage) was also in double figures as the Yellow Jackets secured a win against Hollins Saturday afternoon.
  • Steal & Layup by Ross Lifts R-MC Women's Hoops over LYN 58-55

    Junior Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen), who had her second career double-double with a career-best 26 points and 10 rebounds, had a steal and layup to put the Yellow Jackets ahead to stay with 30 seconds left as the Randolph-Macon women's basketball team nipped Lynchburg 58-55 in ODAC action Thursday evening in Crenshaw Gym.
  • Williams, Woods Hit Double-Digits As Women’s Basketball Defeats SU

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball secured a win against conference foe Shenandoah as the Yellow Jackets scored 21 points in the final frame of play to gain the 13 point victory. Juniors Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) and Charlotte Woods (Richmond, Va./Trinity) each had double-digit scoring nights in the victory.

    Randolph-Macon senior Kelsey Wisner (York, Pa. / Central York) earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s top honor for her work this past week. Wisner earned the first ODAC Player of the Week nod of her career.

    Randolph-Macon Women's Basketball has climbed into the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 in the No. 25 spot, tied with Gettysburg. The poll was released Wednesday. 
  • Wisner With Career Night; LaHaye Earns ODAC Record in Women’s Basketball Win at BC

    Senior Kelsey Wisner (York, Pa. / Central York) tallied a career night in three categories, while head coach Carroll LaHaye earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference record for most overall wins as a head coach as the Yellow Jackets defeated Bridgewater in the conference opener Tuesday night.

    Randolph-Macon junior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week nod in the team’s first week of the season. Williams had three solid outings over the first week of the season, including at 16th-ranked Marymount.

    The University of Valley Forge returned to Ashland, looking to avenge its loss in the NCAA Tournament Friday night. But Randolph-Macon remained the leaders on its own court as the Yellow Jackets sailed to an 85-60 victory in the Randolph-Macon Classic presented by Riesbeck Contracting.

    D3hoops.com announced that Randolph-Macon junior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) was a member of its 2018-19 Preseason Women’s All-America team Wednesday. The four squads plus an honorable mention group represent 25 different institutions across Division III basketball. Williams earned a spot on the First Team.
  • Women’s Basketball Claims First In Preseason ODAC Poll

    After claiming the team’s ninth Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship last season, Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball will maintain its top billing to begin the season. The conferences’ coaches selected the Yellow Jackets to be atop the ODAC Preseason Poll in 2018-19.

    Randolph-Macon junior forward Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C./Halifax Academy) was named the preseason national Player of the Year by Women’s DIII News. In addition, the coaches’ newsletter picked Randolph-Macon as the ninth-ranked team in the nation.
