  • Ross and Arrington Tally 18 Each At CNU

    Senior Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va. / Glen Allen) and junior Becca Arrington (Amelia, Va. / Amelia Academy) both tallied 18 points, with senior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) added a double-double; but it was not enough to stop the Christopher Newport Captains as Women’s Basketball fell in overtime Saturday afternoon.
  • Women’s Basketball Falls To Mary Washington

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball overcame a seven-point deficit coming out of halftime, earning the lead with about five minutes to go in the third quarter. But the Mary Washington Eagles responded nearly immediately and never relinquished the lead from then on as the Eagles handed R-MC a loss in Ashland on Thursday night.
  • Four Yellow Jackets In Double-Figures In Win Vs. EMU

    Four different Yellow Jackets tallied double-digits Tuesday night as Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball tallied a 96-50 victory against Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Eastern Mennonite. All four Yellow Jackets also tallied new season-highs for points in the contest.
  • Last Second Shot Dooms Women’s Basketball At Roanoke

    The Yellow Jackets overcame a 12-point deficit, but in the end, the Roanoke Maroons got a final shot off with 15 seconds remaining to earn an Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory Tuesday evening.
  • Conrad Scores 14 for Women’s Basketball Against W&L

    Freshman Devan Conrad (Parkville, Md. / St. Paul's School for Girls) made her presence known as in her first Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup – also the first for Women’s Basketball this season – the newcomer tallied 14 points and made four steals and a block. It was not enough to overcome a tough night shooting though as the Generals earned the win to open the conference season.
  • Ross Tallies 16 For Women’s Basketball Against #19 Oglethorpe

    Senior Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) tallied 16 points, going 7-for-12 from the field, but it was not enough to take down the hot-handed #19 Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels, who shot 50% from the field en route to a Saturday afternoon victory in the Comfort Suites Classic.
  • Woods and Ross Lead the Way for the Jackets in Big Win over Pfeiffer

    Emory, VA. – The Randolph-Macon Women’s basketball team recorded their first win of the season against Pfeiffer in the opening game of the Comfort Suites Classic in Emory, Virginia.  Seniors Charlotte Woods (Richmond, Va. / Trinity) and Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va. / Glen Allen) led the way for the Jackets finishing with 14 points and 17 points respectively while sophomore Cheridan Hatfield (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) also finished the game in double figures.  Woods recorded her first double-double of the season, finishing with 13 rebounds.  Senior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) returned for the Yellow Jackets and recorded 9 rebounds which makes her the new all-time ODAC leading career rebounder with 1069 rebounds, passing former Yellow Jacket Katie Anderson.  Williams is also now the all-time career rebounder for Randolph-Macon. 
  • Ross Racks Up 18 In Season Opener

    Randolph-Macon senior Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va. / Glen Allen) scored 18 points, while also grabbing eight rebounds as Women’s Basketball opened the season against William Peace Saturday night in the R-MC Tip-Off Classic presented by Riesbeck Contracting.
  • Changes To Tip-Off Classic For Women's Basketball

    The Randolph-Macon Tip-Off Classic presented by Riesbeck Contracting will undergo some changes for this upcoming weekend. Vermont Tech will no longer be able to participate, meaning the tournament will be pared down to Randolph-Macon, William Peace and Eastern Mennonite. 
  • Williams Named Preseason All-American

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball senior Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) has been named to D3hoops.com’s annual preseason All-American list. Williams was named to the group’s All-American Second Team.
  • Women’s Basketball Picked Third In ODAC Preseason Poll

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball has been to finish third this season in the annual Old Dominion Athletic Coaches Preseason Poll. The Yellow Jackets garnered 123 points as well as three first place votes. The poll is voted on by the conference’s head coaches and was released Thursday morning by the conference office.
  • LaHaye Announces 2019-2020 Women's Basketball Slate

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Basketball head coach Carroll LaHaye announced the upcoming season’s schedule Tuesday morning. The schedule includes the traditional Old Dominion Athletic Conference calendar as well as a pair of early-season tournaments and back-to-back contests against in-state rivals Mary Washington and Christopher Newport.
  • Women's Basketball To Hold Golf Outing

    The Randolph-Macon Women's Basketball team invites golfers and Yellow Jacket fans alike to its annual Golf Open and Season Kick-Off. The event is set for Saturday, October 5 at The Hollows Golf Club. This year will mark the 23rd edition of the Open.
