Lewis Earns Medalist Honors at R-MC Women's Golf Fall Invite

RICHMOND, Va. - Senior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) shot 79 to finish first out of 22 individuals, helping the Randolph-Macon women's golf team take second place Thursday at the Randolph-Macon College Women's Golf Fall Invitational at Belmont Golf Course.

Lewis had a pair of birdies on the front nine and carded eight pars during her round, including six pars on the back nine.

Senior Emmy Saathoff (Catonsville, Md./Institute of Notre Dame) placed third by shooting 84. She had two birdies and five pars.

Junior Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) finished tied for ninth at 93. She had seven pars in her round, including five in the first round.

Senior Mia Koch (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) was 15th at 99. She had three pars, including two of the final three holes.

Senior Katelyn Jordan (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) was 17th at 104. She had three pars, including two of the final three holes.

Sophomore Elizabeth Magee was 19th at 129.

The Yellow Jackets have concluded the fall portion of their schedule.
