Lewis Finishes 4th for R-MC Women's Golf at ODAC Championship

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - Senior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) finished fourth out of 31 individuals after the third and final round of the ODAC Championship at the Bryan Park Champions Course.

The Yellow Jackets remained fourth out of six schools in the team standings. R-MC improved by 14 shots at 356 over its second-round 370.

Lewis shot 83 on Tuesday after 83 on Monday and 82 in Sunday's opening round for a total of 248. She birdied the par-4 No. 9 and had 10 pars in her final round.

Senior Emmy Saathoff (Catonsville, Md./Institute of Notre Dame) moved up one place to finish ninth. She shot 82 on Tuesday after 88 in each of her first two rounds for a total of 258. Saathoff had three birdies and seven pars in Round 3.

Junior Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) improved by seven strokes to card a 90 in the third round and finish at 283 (96-97-90). She birdied the par-3 No. 12 and had seven pars in her final round.

Senior Katelyn Jordan (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) finished at 303 (100-102-101). She had five pars, including four on the front nine on Tuesday.

Sophomore Elizabeth Magee (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) improved by 19 strokes from Round 2 to Round 3 to finish at 354 (115-129-110). She carded a par-4 on No. 13.
