    Junior Lexi Jones (Chestertown, Md./Kent County) and freshman Kaylyn Hewes (Linthicum, Md./North County) both scored a pair of goals as the second-seeded Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team fell 14-7 to top-seeded and ninth-ranked Washington and Lee Sunday afternoon in the championship game of the ODAC Tournament.

    Forecasts for the Eastern Seaboard have a mix of precipitation throughout much of the week, requiring a venue and time change for Randolph-Macon’s Women’s Lacrosse team. The game against St. Mary’s (Md.) will now be played at Day Field on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 PM. This is a change from being scheduled at St. Mary’s (Md.) on Thursday for a mid-afternoon game.

  • Yellow Jackets Open Season With 21-14 Victory Over Bobcats

    Senior Alicia Hsieh (Ellicott City, Md. / Centennial) scored five goals and another six Yellow Jackets scored two or more goals in a season-opening victory over the Frostburg State Bobcats Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at Day Field. After swapping goals for much of the first half, R-MC (1-0) turned the engines on at the end of the first half and for much of the second half, scoring five unanswered to close the opening period and four in a row twice throughout the second.

    Eight Randolph-Macon student-athletes will be a part of 34 total R-MC students to be inducted into the Zeta chapter of national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. The eight student-athletes supersedes last year’s total of seven student-athletes in a class
