FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Freshman Natalia Perdomo (Stafford, Va.) earned a pair of victories as the Randolph-Macon women's swimming team dropped a 182-80 decision at Mary Washington on Friday evening.
Perdomo outlasted the competition in the 1000 Free in 11:33.34. She also won the 100 Fly in 1:01.34. Perdomo took second in the 200 Fly in 2:16.23. Perdomo teamed with junior Kata Kylliainen (Towson, Md./Loch Raven), freshman Grace Landolt (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley) and senior Megan Granger (Midlothian, Va./Manchester) to finish third in the 200 Medley Relay in 1:56.87.
Kylliainen placed second in the 200 Free in 2:04.94. She finished second in the 500 Free in 5:36.58.
Sophomore Kacey Pool (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) took second in the 200 Back in 2:19.41.
Junior Haylie Moore (Lexington, N.C./South Davidson) was second in the 1000 Free in 11:39.44. She was also third in the 100 Free in 58.83.
Landolt finished third in the 200 Free in 2:05.87. She was also third in the 200 Breast in 2:41.87.
Senior Savannah Pierce (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) placed third in the 500 Free in 5:47.20.
Freshman Caroline Pifer (Lutherville, Md./Notre Dame Prep) was third in the 50 Free in 27.21.
Randolph-Macon returns to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 21, hosting Washington & Lee at 1 p.m.
