ASHLAND, Va. - Freshman Natalia Perdomo (Stafford, Va.) won the 100 Fly as the Randolph-Macon women's swimming team lost a dual meet at home to Washington & Lee Saturday afternoon.
Perdomo finished first in the 100 Fly in 1:02.36. She was second in the 200 Fly in 2:17.48. Perdomo teamed with sophomore Lauren McCoy (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River), freshman Grace Landolt (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley) and senior Megan Granger (Midlothian, Va./Manchester) to take third in the 200 Medley Relay.
Junior Kata Kylliainen (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) took second in the 1000 Free in 11:30.46. She was also second in the 200 Back in 2:22.07. Kylliainen finished third in the 100 Free in 58.68. She teamed with Granger, junior Haylie Moore (Lexington, N.C./South Davidson) and sophomore Kacey Pool (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) to take third in the 200 Free Relay in 1:48.24.
McCoy placed second in the 100 Back in 1:05.68.
Sophomore Laney Sanchez (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill) took second in the 200 Breast in 2:44.00.
Pool also finished third in the 1000 Free in 11:40.37.
Landolt was third in the 100 Breast in 1:14.49. She was also third in the 200 IM in 2:24.75.
Sophomore Zoe Campbell (Annandale, Va./WT Woodson) took third in the 100 Fly in 1:03.60.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Friday, Nov. 3 with a 5 p.m. meet at St. Mary's.
