  • ITA Names Women’s Tennis All-Academic; Men’s Aud Scholar Athlete

    Randolph-Macon Women’s Tennis was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team. The ITA also named six Yellow Jackets as All-Academic Scholar Athletes. The six women were joined by Men’s Tennis rising sophomore Ryan Aud (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial), who was named a All-Academic Scholar Athlete as well.

    Randolph-Macon recent graduate Stephanie Yeager (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary) and junior Morgan Fuqua (Richmond, VA / Mills Godwin) were honored for their doubles play this season, while junior Landon Aud (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) was honored for play on the singles flight. All three were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors All-State Second Team for the College Division.
  • Dantzler, Markovic Earn Academic All-America Honors

    Randolph-Macon juniors Kristin Dantzler (Williamsburg, Va./York) and Brendan Markovic (Westminster, MD / Winters Mill) have earned Google Cloud Academic All-American status it was announced Wednesday. The Google Cloud Academic All-America program is administered and voted upon by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Honorees must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average, participated in at least half of all contests and must have completed one full year at their institutions.

    Randolph-Macon College had three student-athletes voted to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Teams: junior Kristin Dantzler (Williamsburg, Va./York) from women's tennis, sophomore Victor Kontopanos (North Chesterfield, Va./Home School) from men's swimming, and junior Brendan Markovic (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) from men's lacrosse.
  • All Three Doubles Teams, Aud Named To All-ODAC Squads

    Randolph-Macon junior Landon Aud (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) appeared on two different All-ODAC lists, it was announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. She made a First Team appearance for singles while Aud and her teammate Kristin Dantzler (Williamsburg, Va. / York) were joined by the duos of senior Stephanie Yeager (Fairfax, Va. / Robinson Secondary) & junior Morgan Fuqua (Richmond, VA / Mills Godwin) and junior Courtney Jenkins (Yorktown, Va. / York) & sophomore Isabel Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla. / Lake Wales) on the All-ODAC Second Team. The three honors represent all three of R-MC’s primary doubles teams.
