R-MC Volleyball Rallies for Road Win at Mary Washington

FREDERICKSBURG – The Randolph-Macon College Volleyball team rallied after dropping the first two games of the match to take a 22 - 25, 22 - 25, 25 - 19, 25 - 23, 15 – 13 victory over Mary Washington Tuesday evening.

R-MC, which is now 7-2 overall was led by  Jessica Sears with 20 kills and 16 digs in the five game win.  Mallory Carter paced R-MC as well with 19 kills and 23 digs on the night.  The offense was directed Bailey Trioa dished out 41 assists in the victory.

Marli Dabareiner also chipped in with a team-high 29 digs, while Tori Puryear had 2.5 blocks and Sears had 2.0 stops as well.

Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Wednesday night when it host Virginia Wesleyan in the first ODAC match for both teams.
