The Randolph-Macon Volleyball team saw its five match winning streak come to end on Thursday with a 3-1 loss at Washington & Lee.
R-MC is now 16-4 overall and 6-1 in the ODAC. The Generals improve to 22-3 overall and 8-0 in league play.
The Jackets got a team-high 19 kills from outside hitter Mallory Carter. The 19 kills give Carter 299 for the year which currently ranks 13th best in the single season record books for R-MC. Jessica Sears had nine kills for R-MC, Tori Puryear had seven and Baily Troia dished out 39 assists.
Defensively, Sears had 19 digs, libero Marli Dabareiner had 18 and Carter chipped in with 12 stops in the loss.
R-MC hit just .081 has team, committing 35 errors on 160 chances on the evening.
Randolph-Macon will return to action on Saturday when it heads to Hollins for an 11:00 am match, then to Salem to face Roanoke at 7:00 p.m.
