  • Yellow Jackets Set another Record with 190 on ODAC All-Academic Team

    Randolph-Macon College had a school-record 190 student-athletes named to the 2016-17 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Academic Team. The total surpassed the 170 honored in the 2015-16 academic year.

    The 2016-17 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State team was announced and 217 student-athletes from 37 colleges and universities across the state were recognized.

  • Caroline Brown Joins R-MC Volleyball Coaching Staff

    The Randolph-Macon volleyball team is pleased to announce the addition of Caroline Brown to the coaching staff. Brown played for four years under head coach Bill Rogers and graduated R-MC in 2012. She will join the staff as an assistant coach.

  • Back-to-Back ODAC Champs: 2016 Volleyball Season in Review

    The Randolph-Macon volleyball had a tremendous 2016 season. The Yellow Jackets won the ODAC Regular season title with an 11-0 record, won the ODAC Championships without dropping a set and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament. R-MC finished the season with a 24-8 record.
  • Clark and Quinn Named to VaSID All-State Teams

    DANVILLE, Va – Sophomore Mariah Clark (Stuarts Draft, Va./ Riverheads) and junior Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./ Cardinal Gibbons) were both named to the VaSID Women’s Volleyball All-State Team. Clark was named to the All-State First Team, while Quinn was voted to the Second Team. The VaSID All-State awards are nominated and voted by Sports Information Directors in Virginia.
  • Mariah Clark Named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American

    LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced the AVCA All-America awards. Sophomore outside hitter Mariah Clark (Stuarts Draft, Va./ Riverheads) was named to the ACVCA Division III Honorable Mention All-America Team.
  • Erin Quinn Named AVCA All-American

    The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III Volleyball. Junior setter Erin Quin (Morrisville, N.C./ Cardinal Gibbons) was named to the AVCA Third-Team All-America for her performance this season.
  • R-MC Volleyball Falls in Second Round of NCAA Tournament

    The Randolph-Macon volleyball fell to Mary Washington 3-0 in Fredericksburg on Saturday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Yellow Jackets finished the season with a 24-8 record, winning the regular season and ODAC Title. UMW (30-3) advances to the round of 16 with the win.

    The Randolph-Macon women’s volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Round of 32 with a 3-1 win over Stevenson on Friday night. The Yellow Jackets put in a real team performance as three different players registered double doubles in the come from behind win.
  • Three Yellow Jackets Named to All-Region, Rogers Wins Coach of the Year
    The AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) announced the 2016 Division III All-Region Teams. Junior Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./ Cardinal Gibbons) and sophomore Mariah Clark (Stuarts Draft, Va./ Riverheads) were named to the South Region First Team. Junior Samantha Sallade (Newport News, Va./ Cardinal Gibbons) was named to the Honorable Mention Team. Finishing out the awards was head coach Bill Rogers, who was named the AVCA South Region Coach of the Year.
  • 2016 NCAA Volleyball Championship Preview: Randolph-Macon vs. Stevenson

    The Randolph-Macon volleyball team will travel to Fredericksburg on Friday to compete in the first round of the NCAA Tournament versus Stevenson. R-MC (23-7) heads into the contest right after winning the ODAC Tournament with a sweep over Roanoke, Bridgewater and Washington and Lee.

    The NCAA announced the 64-team tournament for the 2016 DIII Women’s Volleyball Championships. The Randolph-Macon volleyball team will be heading to Fredericksburg to play Stevenson in the first round of Regionals.

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released the 2016 All-Conference Awards. The players were nominated and voted by ODAC coaches. Randolph-Macon had five players named to the All-Conference teams, with junior setter Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./ Cardinal Gibbons) headlining the group, winning the ODAC Player of the Year award.

    The Randolph-Macon volleyball team were defeated by Susquehanna 3-1 in the third game of the Emory Tournament. R-MC (20-6) are now 1-2 in the tournament with a victory over Clarkson and a loss to hosts Emory yesterday.

    The R-MC volleyball team won its eighth consecutive match in a 3-0 victory over Bridgewater on Friday night. R-MC (16-4, 8-0 ODAC) records its longest winning streak of the season in the win over the Eagles (17-5, 6-2 ODAC).
